Key Genius (formerly known as Universal EZ Installer™) is a simple, plug and play OBD device that lets you easily pair new keys on your own using an app on your phone.
Download the Key Genius app from the App Store or Google Play.
Plug Key Genius into your vehicle's standard diagnotics port and follow simple instructions on your phone.
Key Genius is compatible with thousands of makes and models. Enter your vehicle information above to confirm your vehicle is compatible.
The Key Genius app must be installed on a compatible smartphone. iOS 9.0 and up or Android 4.4 and up, and a Bluetooth connection are required.
To use this product, you need at least one working key. New keys cannot be paired without an existing key. Additionally, some vehicles may erase all previous keys during programming, so it's important to have all your current keys present during the pairing process.
What is an OBD port? Where do I find it?
Your on-board diagnostics (OBD) port provides access to your vehicle’s various subsystems and will be used to pair new keys to your car. It is usually located under the dashboard, beneath the steering wheel column. Check your vehicle manual to locate the port on your vehicle.
Will Key Genius work on multiple vehicles?
No. Key Genius is designed for single vehicle use.
Is Key Genius reusable?
Yes, for the same vehicle. Save it for future use and never have to pay a dealership to pair keys again.
